Tenet

Myyyyy gosh. Beautiful chaos. There's never been a better movie with a higher delta of understanding to liking. I understood at best 20% of what was happening in this movie, yet I was completely captured and blown away. The scale just was so much bigger than normal movies. And even though time travel trips me up and throws me out of most movies and books, this somehow didn't. Reminds me of that justice quote, "the simplicity on the other side of complexity". Normally it's used to describe the sublime acceptance of an issue after you've grappled deeply with its most difficult aspects. But here I think I somehow got to the mental state of simplicity because the complexity was so complex that my mind knew it wouldn't ever understand it so it let go trying and just let the massive waves crash over me. Stunning.
