My take
Wowwwwww! What an absolutely wild ride of a movie. The acting was just 10s all the way down. Every single person in this movie just killed it...pun originally not intended since that's kind of something I say, but absolutely meant it too haha. Wow! Trevor recommended this to me as the third pairing to Odyssey prep (the other two I came up with were Lawrence of Arabia for sandals and swords and Tenet, which I'll watch tomorrow for Nolan). I'm so glad he did because the experience of watching this movie of baby Damon and Leo and Walburg and so many others was just so stinking fun. And it wouldn't have been the same without watching it with Alejandra since we were able to keep track of it all and talk it through together. Also, these Boston accents rock. Also, I'm not super into the procedurals, but this is the exception that proves the rule. It's a procedural on the cover but underneath a city story, a moral story, a family story, a bananas violent story, it's a movie about lies, so many lies.
