A poetic, heart filling story about a grandfather, son, and grandson while the grandfather is pretty deep in dementia or some kind of memory loss. It is tragic and moving. Dad recommended it after we watched the Tom Hanks movie Here last night. Alejandra and my whole family has been recommending this author for years and year. I keep saying I'll do it, and this was a perfect way to baptize me! I read a few pages before going to bed last night and then read the rest at the Sand Harbor beach at Lake Tahoe this morning. What a delight.
